Amparo's Breakfast Bistro

Most of the things on the menu are gluten free. Lots of options to choose from. Portions are quite generous and the taste is great. They even provide coffee refills on the house.So far, my favorite place on the island. Definetly recommend.

Just had a fulfilling breakfast at this lover establishment. Wonderful atmosphere with colorful art on the walls. Very peaceful stop to a fast paced day. Food was cooked fresh and to order. The staff was helpful and offered menus in both English and Spanish. Left satisfied and ready to enjoy the day. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. We went at noon and I had huevos rancheros and wife had the vegan version with mushrooms and onions. Excellent sauces and friendly staff. The owner Renee was present and very nice. Very focused on providing great food and service. Go give it a try!!!

Two blocks up Calle 2 Nte from the Coral Reefs Monument (svuba diver sculpture by the ferry) Is the most delightful breakfast bistro, Amparo's.As my airbnb was one block up from this restaurant, I walked by every day, stopping to have a quick coffee or grab one to go.Today I finally had time to enjoy their scrumptuos Mexican platter : chilaquiles, eggs, pancakes, black beans, quesadillos, fruit and coffee. Wonderful! Took me a while to clean my plate. Generous portions.Next time - Lobster Benedict, now that I've had my Chilaquiles. Great menu selections. Good portions.They are open for breakfast until three pm.Sit outside or enjoy the festive Mexican colours indoor.Family owned and run, friendly, super clean.Definitely a favoutite.

Delicious food, freshly made! I had the meat lovers omelet and Coffee both were outstanding. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back before leaving the island.

Ate here twice while on Cozumel. Both times Rene’ waited on me who was friendly and originally from Texas. Food here was consistently delicious and delivered quickly.Authentic Mexican served here. Highly recommend.

The first thing we did when my brother, mother and I arrived to Cozumel was get brunch. It was morning and we needed our caffeine fix and our breakfast. We walked around, a little overwhelmed with the options, but as we passed Amparo, a gentleman sitting outside enjoying a coffee saw us contemplating the restaurant and said, "You will not regret having breakfast hear." We took it as a sign and grab a seat outside.The service was quick and our server was so hospitable. Now, as a coffee-noisseur, I wouldn't say they served the best coffee I've ever had, but it was pretty good and did just the trick to perk me up! But the breakfast... oh yes, no regrets there! I got a simple breakfast with no meat. It was simple yet very delicious.They are very accommodating and have vegetarian and vegan options. They also got the meat-lovers covered! All in all, a great little nook, very inclusive, great service, great food and great coffee! Reasonably priced too in a tourist area!
